The Culinary/Cook is responsible for creating an exceptional culinary experience for the guest through preparation, cooking and food presentation. The candidates must have a strong work ethic and be able to create food items according to the consistency of quality following recipe cards. Culinary team assists the Chef’s in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen and to help maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen.
To fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:
- Cooking school or culinary institute education with two years working as a cook.
- Good knowledge of different cuisines.
- Multi-tasking and willing to participate on a team.
- Good command in English, both verbal and written to meet business needs,
preferred. - Able to work with all products and ingredients.
- Able to set priorities and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Work well in stressful situations, remain calm under pressure and able to solve problems.
- Knowledge in HACCP would be advantageous.
