HU’U VILLAS located at PETITENGET, SEMINYAK – Bali, is looking for a motivated, honest and qualified candidate to fill the position of:

CHIEF ACCOUNTANT

Requirements:

• Local, age between 30-40 years old.
• Degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or similar.
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles, standard, regulations & taxation.
• Experience in working with accounting software, such as Jurnal, and databases.
• Minimum 3 years’ proven accounts experience as a Chief Accountant or similar position.
• The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.
• Ability to work in a team or individually as and when required.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication skills in English.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
  • monthly and end-year process
  • accounts payable/receivable
  • cash receipts
  • general ledger
  • payroll and utilities
  • treasury, budgeting
  • cash forecasting
  • revenue and expenditure variance analysis
  • capital assets reconciliations
  • account statement reconciliations,
  • check runs
  • fixed asset activity
• Monitorand analyze accounting data and work with external accounts consultant to produce financial reports or statements
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
• Provide recommendations
• Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Meet financial accounting objectives
• Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transact
