Front Office Supervisor
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and guest inquiries
- Ensure that all guest requests and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally
- Train and motivate front desk staff to deliver exceptional service and maximize revenue
- Monitor and manage room inventory to ensure maximum occupancy and revenue
- Oversee the billing and accounting processes, including daily deposits and cash handling
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to front desk staff
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure efficiency and consistency in front office operations
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the guest experience
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
- 3 years of experience in a front office role, with at least 1 year of supervisory experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel management software
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed
