  • At least 4 years experience as head chef in successful restaurant.
  • Control and direct the food preparation process
  • Construct menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of the servings
  • Approve and “polish” dishes before they reach the customer
  • Ordering / Receiving / Inventory control
  • Calculate and control food costs
  • Be fully in charge of hiring, managing and training kitchen staff
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Team Leader
  • Excellent communication skills with all staff across the business
