Position : Housekeeping Supervisor
About the Role :
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing housekeeping operations within an assigned property. This role ensures that all rooms and common areas meet the highest cleanliness standards and that housekeeping staff perform their duties efficiently. The Housekeeping Supervisor works closely with the Housekeeping Manager to maintain operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities :

Supervise housekeeping staff, assigning daily tasks and monitoring performance.

Conduct inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure high cleanliness standards.

Coordinate with the Front Office regarding room availability and readiness.

Train and mentor housekeeping team members in cleaning procedures and hygiene standards.

Maintain housekeeping inventory and ensure proper use of cleaning supplies.

Address guest requests related to housekeeping services and resolve any issues.

Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Qualifications :

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a housekeeping supervisory role within hospitality.

Skills: Strong leadership, organization, and attention to detail.

Education: Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management preferred.

Knowledge: Familiarity with cleaning procedures, health and safety regulations, and hotel operations.
