• • Knowledgeable about Japanese & European food.
  • Past experience working in a similar role.
  • Ability to work without close supervision
  • Good oral communication & team management skills
  • Able to maintain cost and food quality standards

  • Adaptability to change and willingness to embrace new ideas and processes
  • Positive and approachable manner

General Job Description

• • Oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals in all sections
  • Create menu items, recipes and developing dishes ensuring variety and quality
  • Direct chefs in their section in preparing, cooking, and presenting culinary dishes according to applicable standard
  • Enforce strict health and hygiene standards in the kitchen
  • Determine food inventory needs & expiration dates, stocking and ordering
  • Ensures work area remains clean
  • Train and supervise junior chefs, including in best practices, safety, and cleanliness standards
  • Troubleshoot any problem that may arise.
